ANALOG OPTICAL REPEATER SYSTEM OF DOUBLE WAVELENGTH DIVISION MULTIPLEXING TYPE

PURPOSE: A double wavelength division multiplexing type analog optical repeater system is provided to match a single master unit with slave units, thereby drastically reducing the installation and maintenance costs of an optical repeater. CONSTITUTION: A forward signal from a mobile communication base station and a reverse signal from a wireless subscriber side mobile communication terminal are repeated. A single master unit is connected to at least one slave unit through an optical cable. The single master unit optically distributes and transmits the forward signal according to the slave unit(s). The single master unit combines reverse signals from each slave unit and transmits them to the mobile communication base station.
