PURPOSE: An embedded mechanism for the platform weak point evaluation using an embedded hardware management engine of a managed platform managed under a stand-alone host for scanning the weak point is provided to perform the weak point scanning without the agent on a host operating system. CONSTITUTION: An NIC(Network Interface Card) driver(318) is connected to a management console of network and a network stack(308). A management partition(304) includes a weakness point scanner(312). The management partition excludes components for various functions. The management console constitutes the weak point scanner by security rules and policies. The management console constitutes the weak point scanner by object virtual machine Internet Protocol addresses.
