PURPOSE: A waste water treatment sedimentation system and a waste water disposal method using the same installing a filter layer on the top of a setting tank are provided to reduce the performance of the settling tank without the separate filtering apparatus installation space. CONSTITUTION: A waste water sedimentation system is formed in a settling tank(9). A filter medium layer(3) consisting of the lurking pop-up filter medium is formed in the settling tank sleep. The filtering layer is leaped into without the filter medium layer. The specific gravity of the filter medium is controlled over 0.95 by 1.0 under. The form capable of in the filter medium is person under sleep the flotation. The filter medium forms the filter medium layer which is filled to the constant thickness.
