A fan unit for gas burners (3) with pre-mixing is described, of the type comprising a combustion head (2) and first conveying means (13) for conveying a combustible air/gas mixture fed to the delivery side of the fan in the direction of the head (2), the fan unit comprising a radial impeller (4) and a manifold (5) for housing the impeller, the fan being provided with at least one intake section (6) and at least one delivery section (7) for the flow which are defined in the manifold, drive means (8) being provided for rotating the impeller (4) about an axis of rotation (X), wherein the intake section (6) of the fan is disposed on the same side as the combustion head (2) and wherein second conveying means (14) are provided for conveying the flow of air and/or gas between the head (2) and the impeller (4) in the direction of the intake section (6).
