PURPOSE: An activated carbon for an absorption tower and a manufacturing method thereof including the mixture of the manganese oxide and copper oxide are provided to efficiently purify the air polluted by the removal efficiency of the nitric oxide being improved and using the adsorption tower. CONSTITUTION: An activated charcoal for an adsorption tower includes a mixture in which the copper oxide and manganese oxide are mixed and raw coal are included to the weight ratio of 1~10:99~90. The copper oxide and manganese oxide are included to the weight ratio of 40~60:60~40. The manufacturing method of the activated charcoal for the adsorption tower comprises as follows. A binder is mixed with the bonging agent(100). The activated charcoal is cut to the extruded pellet. The activated charcoal of the plurality cutting is carbonized.
