<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely keep a door in a closed state when the door is operated for closing. <P>SOLUTION: When a striker S intruding into a striker storage groove 11 of a base plate 10 is put into an imperfectly latched state between the striker S and a latch 120, a door latch device makes the striker S and the latch 120 shifted to a fully latched state by driving a latch actuator 201 so as to keep a trunk lid D in a closed state with respect to a vehicle body B. The door latch device is equipped with a door opening/closing switch 140 for outputting a detection signal when the striker S intrudes into the striker storage groove 11. When the detection signal is outputted from the door opening/closing switch 140 and the striker S and the latch 120 are put into the imperfectly latched state, the door latch device drives the latch actuator 201. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
