<p>The method involves providing a molding tool (1) with a cavity (2). A plastic tube (4) is placed in the cavity. An outer wall of the tube is sucked into inner walls (10a, 10b) of the cavity by producing low pressure between the outer wall of the tube and the inner walls. The low pressure is produced by sucking air through openings (5), which are formed in the inner walls of the cavity. Compressed air is blown into curved sections of the inner walls during placing the tube such that the tube is guided through a defined path within the cavity by the blown air.
