PURPOSE: A device for cutting a packing band is provided to enhance the efficiencies of an automatic packing band separating device and a packing band cutting device by the mixed effect of the separating function of a packing band and the cutting function of the separated band. CONSTITUTION: A device for cutting a packing band comprises a driving motor(2), a rotating cutter(3), a feeding roller(4), a pressing roller(5), a clamping member(7) and a hopper(8). The driving motor is installed on the upper part of a body. The rotating cutter comprises a plurality of blades installed in the body driven by the motor. The feeding roller is installed on the leading end of the body. The feeding roller rotates by the driving force of the rotating cutter and directs a band to be cut to the rotating cutter. The pressing roller is installed on the lower part of the feeding roller and draws the band in the state of maintaining a pressure with the feeding roller. The clamping member is installed in the body, clamps and cuts the fed band in a normal direction to a circular arc track of the rotating cutter. The hopper is installed on the front of the feeding roller and guides the band.
