The device has a machine area (3) provided with an access opening that is closed by a covering part (7). The covering part exhibits a hinge (9) and a pivotable airfoil (11) that is adjusted between opened and closed positions by the hinge, where the hinge is formed as a film hinge. The hinge connects the pivotable airfoil with a fixed airfoil (10), where the pivotable airfoil is placed above a rotation axis in the closed position. The pivotable airfoil rests against the fixed airfoil in the opened position. An independent claim is also included for a method for installing a cooling device.
