PURPOSE: A device for alarming the error on the number of griped slabs is provided to enable a driver to recognize the error on the number of gripped slabs by automatically checking the number of slabs gripped by a hook and alarming the error on the number of gripped slabs if any. CONSTITUTION: A device for alarming the error on the number of griped slabs comprises a weight detection unit(100), a supporting block, a supporting block PLC(20), an alarm generating unit(50) and a controller(30). The weight detection unit detects the actual weight of the slab gripped by a hook. The length of the supporting block changes according to the depth of the slab gripped by the hook. The block PLC checks the actual length of the supporting block. The alarm generating unit alarms the error on the number of the gripped slabs. The controller receives the actual weight and the actual length from the weight detection unit and the supporting block PLC, compares them with a reference weight and a reference length and controls the alarm generating unit. |
