The vacuum cleaner has a motor-fan unit for generating suction air stream, and a dust separation unit for separating dust. A rib unit (9) is provided with ribs (45), where rib sections of one of the ribs of the rib unit are arch-shaped. The rib sections contact with one another. Rib edges (25) protruding from the rib unit lie in two levels. The rib unit is arranged in the direction of the suction air stream. The rib unit is connected with a main filter, and auxiliary materials are stored in a sub frame.
