The invention relates to a device for pumping gaseous suspensions, particularly fiber suspensions, comprising a fluidization rotor (2) having one or more blades (5), and a pump impeller and a pressure connector (7), wherein the fluidization rotor (2) is disposed in the intake connector (6) of the pump (1) and comprises a hub (3), the fluidization rotor (2) being free at the center on the inlet end (4) and the blades (5) acting freely without reinforcement or connection among each other. It is characterized in that the ratio of the free length (Fl) of the fluidization rotor (2) to the fluidization rotor diameter (Dr) is between 0% and 75%.
