Method for processing continually moving workpieces (10) comprises orienting the workpieces and processing a first side (11) running parallel to the direction of movement and an opposite-lying second side (12) running parallel to the direction of movement to form a reference edge. The workpieces are then oriented perpendicular to the direction of movement on the reference edge on the second side and are processed on the second side. An Independent claim is also included for a device used for carrying out the above method.
