The device (10) has a mains connection unit (18) that connects phase lines of three-phase network. A motor connection unit (14) connects six winding contacts (20-30) of three-phase motor. An exchangeable coupling modules (16,16') arranged between mains connection unit and motor connection unit, electrically connects six winding ends to three phase lines of the network. The coupling modules couples the three windings in respective delta and star connections and rotates through 180[deg] along coupling direction to reverse direction of rotation of three-phase motor.
