A MANUFACTURING METHOD OF RUTHENIUM OXIDE USED ULTRASONIC AND DIRECT REDUCTION

PURPOSE: A producing method of a high purity ruthenium oxide is provided to mass-produce minute ruthenium dioxide powder with the high purity by controlling the temperature, the concentration, and the pH of a reaction solution. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a high purity ruthenium oxide using an ultrasonic wave and the direct reduction comprises the following steps: inserting metallic ruthenium to a first solution including caustic soda or potassium hydroxide; adding sodium hypochlorite to the first solution to form a second solution with ruthenium-oxide salt; inserting ozone and nitrogen gas to the second solution to oxidize into tetroxide ruthenium; adding an alcohol solution to the tetroxide ruthenium, and reducing into ruthenium-oxide using the ultrasonic wave; filtering the ruthenium-oxide solution to obtain ruthenium-oxide powder; and vacuum drying the ruthenium-oxide powder.
