<p>A method for pausing signals includes the following steps: A media gateway (MG) receives a pause instruction, from a media gateway controller (MGC), instructing the MG to pause a resource operation; and the MG pauses the resource operation according to the pause instruction. A device for pausing signals is also provided. In embodiments of the present invention, the MGC may flexibly pause a signal or a signal list on a termination or a stream or associated with a media resource.</p> |
