PURPOSE: An artificial turf construction method using an under mat mainly composed of stone and rubber chips is provided to prevent to prevent excessive expansion and contraction of an under mat as well as protecting players on the artificial turf. CONSTITUTION: An artificial turf construction method comprises steps of: placing aggregate on a base layer(1) to form an aggregate layer(2), forming an under mat(4), mainly composed of stone(44) and rubber chips(41), on the aggregate layer and forming an artificial turf layer(5) in the upper side of the under mat. The under mat is formed by placing a fiber reinforced material(43) and the stone on the top of the aggregate layer and pressing the mixture with a roller to solidify the mixture. |
