There are proposed different methods for producing a card-shaped data carrier directly in the ID-000 format (plug-in), and for combining the production method with the incorporation of security features, individualization data and personalization data. In so doing, a card body (4) having ID-000 dimensions is connected directly to the rear side of a film carrier (1) or module tape, being for example cast or injection-molded thereonto. The film carrier (1) is preferably transparent or semitransparent. Through the film carrier (1) the card body (4) can be marked and inscribed by means of laser radiation. |
