A notebook service system using a communication network is provided to enable another user receiving an access right to a document owner to edit and manage a document through the communication network at any place, any time, as well as the document owner himself or herself. A notebook service system(20) using a communication network comprises as follows. An account setting unit(21) enables users(11-1~11-2) connected through a communication network(12) to set up accounts. When the users setting up the accounts are connected with other users having an access right through the communication network, a notebook edition unit(22) edits documents belonging to the accounts, and provides a document edition tool for management. In the authority setting unit(23), the users setting the accounts are able to designate other users for each document belonging to the accounts and to set access rights. An account manager(24) stores the documents by account and access right information to manage the stored documents and information. |
