PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the mobility of charges in a via hole by controlling the area occupied by current collectors for front electrodes with lead or without lead. CONSTITUTION: A solar cell(1) comprises a plurality of via holes(181). An emitter(120) is positioned on a substrate(110). An anti reflection layer is positioned on the emitter of an incident surface of a substrate. A plurality of front electrodes(141) are positioned on the emitter of the substrate with the anti-reflection layer. A rear electrode(151) is positioned on the rear of the substrate. A current collector(161) for the front electrode is electrically connected to the front electrode. A current collector(162) for the rear electrode is electrically connected to the rear electrode. A plurality of rear electric field parts(171) are positioned between the rear electrode and the lower side of the substrate.
