PURPOSE: A device and a method for melting and plating, which prevents the contact of surface of a melting plating solution with air using an oxidation prevention layer, is provided to prevent the generating of an oxide film on a plated material in the inserting and discharging of plated material. CONSTITUTION: A device and a method for melting and plating comprise a plating bath(10), a heating member(20) and an oxidation prevention layer(40). The plating bath contains melting plating solution(30). The heating member is arranged on the lower part of a plating bath. The heating member maintains the accepted melting plating solution in molten state. The oxidation prevention layer is arranged on the top of the melting plating solution. The oxidation prevention layer prevents the surface oxidation of the melting plating solution.
