The anemometer has an electronic digital display case (3) connected to a mechanical part by an electrical wire. A slide switch is connected to a printed circuit board, and a variable resistor i.e. potentiometer, permits calibration of the anemometer. The mechanical part has a cup support (2) whose thickness is 6mm and diameter is 160mm. The support is made of expanded PVC and maintained by a mast (6) having length of 15cm. The mast has a PVC side that is directly connected to a small direct current electric motor (4).
