The device has a mobile light source (2) sliding along rails (6) and recreating solar run and solar radiation in a controlled and repetitive manner. Turbulence generating elements e.g. filters (9) and obstacles (8), are inserted between the light source and a solar cell or sensor (1). The rails are mounted on axles (5, 7), and the obstacles are reflective, opaque or translucent to materialize indirect radiations or cast shadows. The filters are implanted on the light source to produce blur effect and generate diffused radiation.
