PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server system or the like, for allowing a photographing image being an object for image retrieval to be browsable. SOLUTION: The server system includes: a reception processing part for performing processing to receive transmission data about the photographing image through a network; an album registering part for performing processing to register the photographed image in an album database; and a data creation part for creating retrieval result data including a plurality of candidate name tags when a plurality of registered images similar to the photographed image are retrieved from an image database, and a plurality of candidate name tags are acquired from a plurality of name tags associated with the plurality of registered images. When a user selects one of the plurality of candidate name tags on a retrieval result screen displayed based on the retrieval result data, the album registering part registers the selected candidate name tag in association with the photographed image of the album database as the established name tag of the photographed image.
