PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire rod forming device capable of inhibiting a wire rod on the upstream side in the carrying direction from being pulled into a die when forming a wire rod being continuously carried and of inhibiting the surface of the wire rod from being chafed when forming the wire rod into a predetermined shape. SOLUTION: The wire rod forming device includes: a fixed die 51 having a fixed forming face 55, which is nearly arc-shaped; a movable die 52, which is composed to be swingable around a prescribed swing fulcrum 53 and has a movable forming face 56 being nearly arc-shaped and opposed to the fixed forming face 55; and a carrying mechanism for carrying and feeding a wire rod 33 between the fixed forming face 55 and the movable forming face 56. The carrying mechanism is composed so that it carries the wire rod 33 along a carrying line 57 that is set to approximately agree with the tangent of an edge side 55a on the upstream side in the carrying direction of the fixed forming face 55. The swing fulcrum 53 is positioned in the side of the movable die 52 from the carrying line 57, and is disposed on an upstream side Fa in the carrying direction from the edge side 55a on the upstream side in the carrying direction of the fixed forming face 55.
