<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an interest in a game by executing a serial performance developing a story over a plurality of variable displays. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A pinball game machine includes: a single performance pattern table 71 which records single performance patterns expressing a single performance, or the performance completed in single variable displays; a serial performance pattern table 72 which records the serial performance patterns expressing the serial performance, or the performance continuing over the plurality of variable displays; a serial performance determination means 42 determining whether or not starting the serial performance with the variable displays when no serial performance is actually executed; and a performance pattern selection means 44 which selects a performance pattern. When the serial performance is actually executed or the serial performance is about to start, the performance pattern selection means 44 selects a performance pattern from the serial performance pattern table 72 and, when no serial performance is started, selects a performance pattern from the single performance pattern table 71 respectively.
