PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electric machine reduced in a copper loss of a coil and improved in efficiency. SOLUTION: The rotating electric machine includes: a stator having a stator core formed with a plurality of slots; a stator winding wound around the plurality of slots, and a rotor rotatably arranged inside the stator. In each of the slots, a plurality of concurrent holding coils constituting one turn are arranged side by side in the circumferential direction of the stator, and the plurality of concurrent holding coils constituting one turn are wound a plurality of times and arranged side by side in the radial direction of the stator.
