<p>A procedure for manufacture of a pressed panel from a powder, particularly a waste powder of a polymethylmetacrylate and aluminium hydroxide composite according to the invention is characterized in that the material contains 20-80 weight parts of crosslinked polymethylmetacrylate and 20-80 weight parts of aluminium hydroxide filler and can be shaped into semimanufactured products or products without dimensional limitations by pressing in a mould at an elevated temperature. Instead of polymethylmetacrylate, polymethylacrylate or polyethylacrylate can be applied too. The composite polymer, from which the processed powder is obtained, may also contain some other filler. The end product can be heated above 100 degrees Celsius and formed in the hot state. The procedure according to the invention enables the manufacture of panels and other products or semimanufactured products.</p> |
