When a flow of conditioned air is divided by the mounting structure of a motor for driving a flap, the turbulence of the flow of conditioned air blown out of a blower is suppressed, and the energy efficiency of the air conditioning is improved. An air conditioner is provided with a casing which has a suction opening for sucking in the air in a room and a blower for blowing out conditioned air, and a fan and a heat exchanger housed in the casing. The air conditioner is provided with a flap (303) which is mounted on the blower and adjusts the blowing direction of the conditioned air, and a motor (50) which is the source for the oscillating drive for the flap (303) and is installed so as to avoid the lengthwise ends of the blower. A flow-adjusting cover (80) formed in a shape which divides the flow of conditioned air toward each lengthwise end of the blower is provided at the motor (50).
