Explosive effect mitigated containers and enclosing devices

An explosion mitigation container with a top, bottom and sides where at least one of the top, bottom and sides is completely or partially lined with blast mitigation material 13. The blast mitigation material 13 comprises two parallel, flexible sheets of material joined together by a number of seams. The seams are arranged to form cells or recesses between the sheets of material. The cells or recesses are filled with perlite which is a shock attenuating material. The containers will offer protection from bombs placed in them.
