<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare earth metal complex having high solubility, low crystallinity, crystallization temperature higher than room temperature, and light resistance, and attaining high security level independent of ink solvent, binder, medium used, and usage environment; and to provide a rare earth metal complex fluorescing both as a solid and in a solution, and an ink composition utilizing the same. <P>SOLUTION: By using the rare earth metal complex represented by the formula (wherein Ln is at least one metal selected from a group consisting of yttrium and lanthanoids; R represents an 8-24C branched alkyl), a fluorescent material suitable for an inkjet ink composition which has high solubility in organic solvents and generates the three primary colors by merely altering the kind of the central metallic ion is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
