<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can maintain a display function even in the case of the occurrence of a fault in a driving circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A gate line 12 comprises a plurality of gate lines 12a and gate lines 12b adjacent to each other and is provided with a gate driver 30a for driving the gate lines 12a and a gate driver 30b for driving the gate lines 12b. A gate output determination part 71 determines whether one of the gate drivers 30a and 30b is faulty or not based on output timing of gate signals Gout_A and Gout_B outputted from the gate drivers 30a and 30b.
