PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electrical machine in which torque is efficiently transmitted from a shaft to a ring core and damage due to diameter expansion is prevented during high-speed rotation of the rotating electrical machine, and to provide a method for manufacturing the rotating electrical machine. SOLUTION: A tapered surface (56) of a plate-side tapered section (52) and a tapered surface (70) of a shaft-side tapered section (62) are bonded with pressure by applying forces between a plurality of plate-side protruding sections (32) and a plurality of shaft-side protruding sections (34) in the directions wherein the plate-side protruding sections and the shaft-side protruding sections are separated from each other.
