<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing the inside of the machine from becoming dirty due to remaining toner adhered to a sealing member provided in a cleaning device. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device includes a preliminary charging member 26 for charging the remaining toner by transfer bias voltage to be applied on a transfer roll 20 and preliminary bias voltage having reversed polarity to that of the transfer bias voltage, an inferring means for inferring amount of charging of the remaining toner based on values of transfer current flowing into a photosensitive drum 12 from the transfer roll 20, and a charging current increasing and decreasing means for increasing or decreasing a value of charging current of the preliminary charging member 26 to let it reach the predetermined scope. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
