<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, wherein reduction in power consumption is achieved by interrupting a power supply fed to a unit or circuit not used during operation regardless of an operation mode. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a power supply interruption part having a plurality of power supply interruption mechanisms interrupting power supply to respective units or circuits.
