COMMUNICATION REPEATER, COMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable terminals connected through a gateway to communicate with each other without knowing an address of an opposite terminal in a communication system for communicating media data between sites connected through a network.

SOLUTION: A communication repeater is connected to a wide-area network for executing a band assurance session and an in-site network and relays communication between the wide-area network and the in-site network. The communication repeater includes a communication terminal management means for registering and managing the communication terminal upon receipt of a first registration request from the communication terminal connected to the in-site network. Upon receipt of a first communication start request from the wide-area network, the communication repeater transmits a second communication start request to the communication terminal registered in the communication terminal management means.
