<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To locate an abnormal part from a remote place at a low cost, when any deficiency arises in the quality of an IP service in which disturbances in an image and a voice and a block noise are generated. <P>SOLUTION: While calculating the number of passage packets passing through a home gateway 200 by using an inspection result of the home gateway 200, the number of reception packets received by an end terminal 100 is calculated by using a retrieval result of the end terminal 100, and the number of passage packets and the number of reception packets are compared to determine whether they are matched or not. When this comparison result is not matched, a LAN is detected as the abnormal part. When this comparison result is matched, the received error information is compared with error information concerning the quality to determine whether they are matched or not. When this comparison result is matched and the number of passage packets is less than a predetermined threshold, a WAN is detected as the unsatisfactory part. Although the comparison result is matched, when the number of passage packets is more than the predetermined threshold, the end terminal 100 is detected as the unsatisfactory part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
