摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the irregularity of density. SOLUTION: The printing apparatus includes: a nozzle array in which a plurality of nozzles are arranged in a predetermined direction; a moving mechanism which moves the nozzle array to the medium in a direction that intersects the predetermined direction; a conveying mechanism which conveys the medium to the nozzle array in the predetermined direction; and a control part which alternately repeats delivering operations by which the medium is conveyed in the predetermined direction by a predetermined conveyance amount and an ink is delivered from the nozzle array while the nozzle array is moved from one side of the intersecting direction after the ink is delivered from the nozzle array while the nozzle array is moved from the other side of the intersecting direction, and the conveying operation by which the medium is conveyed in the predetermined direction by a larger conveyance amount than the predetermined conveyance amount. The control part makes the medium conveyed so that an end of a first image formed by the earlier delivering operation and an end of a second image formed by the later delivering operation overlap each other, and makes an ink amount delivered from the nozzles for forming the end of the first image and ink amounts delivered from the nozzles for forming the end of the second image different from each other.
