摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a fault of a capacitor used in a boosting converter, in a power supply system with the boosting converter. SOLUTION: The system includes the low voltage side capacitor which includes two series-connected low voltage side divided capacitors and is connected between low voltage side terminals of the boosting converter, the high voltage side capacitor which includes two series-connected high voltage side divided capacitors and is connected between high voltage side terminals of the boosting converter, a voltage sensor which measures an inter-terminal voltage of each capacitor, a sensor fault detection means which detects a fault of the voltage sensor on the basis of the measurement results of the voltage sensor when the boosting converter is controlled so that the voltage between the low voltage side terminals and the voltage between the high voltage side terminals reach prescribed voltages, and a capacitor fault detection means which detects the fault of the low voltage side capacitor or the high voltage side capacitor on the basis of measurement results of inter-terminal voltages of the low voltage side divided capacitors or the high voltage side divided capacitors.
