PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a sensor head which enables angle adjustment around an optical axis with a high degree of flexibility without designing an exclusive tool for a sensor head unit of a sensor so as to meet a site condition every time, or without needing the removal work of screws or the like. SOLUTION: A polygonal cylindrical case with a shape of a cross-sectional regular polygon which constitutes a sensor head, and a mounting tool interposed between the polygonal cylindrical case and a supporting member are provided. The mounting tool is constituted of a central plate unit, a left side plate unit and a right side plate unit which are integrally molded with synthetic resins. The central plate unit is provided with a mounting unit which is used for mounting to the supporting member while holding projections are formed on inner surfaces of tips of the left and right side plate units. Respective surfaces of the polygonal cylindrical case are formed with holding grooves engaged with the holding projections of the left and right side plate units of the mounting tool while the arrangement pattern of the holding grooves are the same for all the surfaces.
