PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up editing of images for stored documents and determination processing for propriety of output. SOLUTION: An image processing unit stores attribution information of a plurality of images when the plurality of images to be input are stored as one document. The image processing unit includes a control means for allowing a storage to store restriction information on the editing of the images or the propriety of output from among the attribute information. The control means prevents the restriction information of the images to be input from being stored when the restriction information of the images to be input is the same as the restriction information of other images included in a document to which the images that have already been stored in the storage belong, thus solving the above problem.
