PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of improving the detachability of a cover body and the touchability of a terminal. SOLUTION: A portable telephone 1 includes a box-body member 17, the cover body 19 being capable of being detachable to the box-body member 17 and forming an opening 23, and a charging terminal 7 held to the box-body member 17 and exposed from the opening 23. The charging terminal 7 includes an external terminal 31 capable of being moved between a place inserted into the opening 23 and the place retracted from the opening 23, and an elastic member 35 urging the external terminal 31 at the inserting place.
