PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent information from being read out of another information terminal other than an information terminal adaptable to the maintenance server of a vendor when a maintenance is performed by the maintenance server via a communication line. SOLUTION: A first maintenance server is connected with a communication apparatus, which is connected to a plurality of information terminals installed in user's house, via a communication line correspondingly to the communication apparatus. The first maintenance server transmits to the communication apparatus filtering information for filtering and extracting only information to be transmitted with an information terminal corresponding to a second maintenance server as a destination. The communication apparatus stores the transmitted filtering information and reads out filtering information corresponding to a destination of information received via the communication line. When the read-out filtering information indicates that relay of information with the information terminal as a destination is permitted, the information is transmitted to the information terminal but when the filtering information indicates not permitted, the information is not transmitted to the information terminal.
