摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that can securely measure the number of steps and is highly convenient to a user. SOLUTION: The communication system (1) can measure the number of steps taken on a road surface (70) through communication between a first communication device (2) and second communication devices (50, 50) put on a human body (60) with the human body as a signal transmission line. The first communication device has first electrodes (22, 32) capacitively coupled to the human body and transmitting or receiving signals to and from the second communication devices and a first GND electrode (28) capacitively coupled to the second communication devices with the road surface as the ground. The second communication devices are put on the human body nearby the road surface, and each has a second signal electrode (52) capacitively coupled to the human body and receiving or transmitting signals from and to the first communication device, and a second GND electrode (58) capacitively coupled to the first communication device through the ground.
