PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component exhibiting excellent reliability even when a large current flows. SOLUTION: The coil component includes a coil 11 buried in a core 12, and a terminal 13 electrically connected to the coils 11. The terminal 13 projects from a side surface of the core 12, and is bent from a side surface to a bottom surface of the core 12. A solder attachment preventing film 17 is formed on a part of the terminal 13b along the side surface opposite to the core 12. Solder coating 15 is performed on a part of the terminal 13a along the bottom surface opposite to the core 12. Solder 16 can be flown to the inside of the terminal 13a along the bottom surface in soldering, and a heat dissipation property of the core 12 can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
