PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a metering error of an article in a scale device having a constitution where an opening bag is brought into contact with a pedestal and a bagged article is mounted to the pedestal. SOLUTION: A holding arm 307 for holding the bag 401 is supported by an arm support 305 and positioned above the pedestal (scale pan 303). The holding arm 307 has a structure for holding a pair of handles 403 disposed in the bag 401 in a skewered state, and has a first holding section 311 for holding the bag 401 in a folded state at the root side and a second holding section 312 for holding the bag 401 in the opened state at a position lower than the holding position by the first holding section 311 at the tip side, respectively. The second holding section 312 holds the bag 401 at a height where the article bagged by the bag 401 is mounted to the pedestal (scale pan 303). The first holding section 311 holds the bag 401 at a height where the lower end of the bag 401 does not reach the position of the bag 401 held by the second holding section 312.
