<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can prevent fraudulent acts which are so-called configuration changing acts, and in case, the fraudulent acts which are so-called configuration changing acts, if any, are conducted, can detect that such fraudulent acts have been conducted at an early stage. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a configuration change operating section 70 for changing the configuration of a game, a scent intensity detecting section 39 which detects the intensity of a specific scent, and a controlling device 20 for controlling the game machine. The controlling device 20 is provided with a configuration changing means 120 for changing the configuration of the game on the basis of the operation of the configuration change operating section 70 and a configuration change permitting means 130 for permitting changes to the configuration of the game in case any intensity of the specific scent which is a specific intensity or above is detected by the scent intensity detecting section 39.
