The invention relates to a method for operating a magnetic-inductive flow measurement device, wherein the flow measurement device has at least one coil (L, 2, 3), wherein a magnetic field (B) is created by means of the coil (L, 2, 3) in a measurement operation, through which magnetic field (B) a measuring tube (1) penetrates and creates a measurement voltage in an at least slightly electrically conductive measurement material flowing through the measuring tube (1), wherein a magnetic interference field having effect from outside the flow measurement device and creating an interference voltage in the measurement material is determined, wherein a voltage present between two measurement electrodes (4, 5) communicating with the measurement material is tapped for flow determination, wherein the voltage present between the measurement electrodes (4, 5) comprises an overlay of the measurement voltage and the interference voltage, and wherein the tapped voltage or a value derived therefrom is amended in dependence on the magnetic interference field. |
