DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ADDING FLUX SLAG TO MOLD OF CONTINUOUS CASTING MACHINE

A device for adding flux slag to the mold of a continuous casting machine includes a slag hopper (101) for containing flux slag (112); a flux slag distributor having a spiral conveyor for conveying the flux slag and a plurality of ration chambers (106j) arranged in the pipe shell length direction of the spiral conveyor with slag spraying ports (106k); a flux slag pipeline assembly for connecting the slag hopper (101) with the spiral conveyor; a compression air supply device for supplying compression air to all ration chambers and a controller (103) for at least adjusting the spiral conveyor and the compression air supply device. A method for adding flux slag to the mold of a continuous casting machine is also provided in the present invention. The slag-adding speed can be adjusted, and the slag distributes more uniformly over the molten melt by using the device or the method of the present invention.
