The chemical substance detection apparatus comprises: a chamber having a gas inlet and a gas outlet; a gas introduction channel which is connected to the gas inlet and through which the gas sample is introduced into the chamber; a gas discharge channel which is connected to the gas outlet and through which the gas sample is discharged from the chamber; at least one sensor array which is arranged in the interior of the chamber and comprises a substrate and a sensor element for detecting the chemical substance and arranged on a substrate; and a signal receiving unit which can receive a signal from the sensor element.</p>
